Indiecorns Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Indiecorns handles data for the Indiecorns web app, CLI handoff, and Chrome extension.

What Indiecorns collects

Indiecorns uses your account information, such as your email address and profile details, to provide the dashboard, onboarding progress, and agent handoff features.

The Indiecorns Chrome extension stores your Indiecorns extension session identifier and session secret in chrome.storage.local so the side panel can call Indiecorns APIs while you are signed in.

When you run onboarding actions from the extension, Indiecorns may receive task status, platform name, evidence URLs, target profile or project URLs, and timestamps needed to show progress and award onboarding credits.

What the Chrome extension does in the browser

The extension runs only on the supported Indiecorns onboarding platforms declared in the extension manifest: app.indiecorns.com, Peerlist, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, and Discord invite pages.

The extension may inspect page state on those supported sites after you start a task, such as whether a follow, upvote, or join button is visible or already completed.

The extension does not fill passwords, submit credentials, bypass platform login, or run silent background automation. Automation is started by the user from the side panel.

How Indiecorns uses data

Indiecorns uses extension data to authenticate extension API requests, show onboarding progress, record task evidence, debug product issues, and prevent duplicate task completion.

Indiecorns does not sell personal data or extension browsing activity.

Indiecorns uses information received from Chrome APIs in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing and retention

Indiecorns shares data with service providers only as needed to operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and database providers.

Indiecorns keeps account, onboarding, and evidence records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

You can sign out of the extension to clear local extension session data from your browser.
